Malerei

In Leipzig wohnend und selbst gern an der Staffelei werkelnd, ist es einem kaum möglich, dem Einfluss der Neuen Leipziger Schule mit der ihr eigenen figurativen Malerei zu entrinnen. Daher dominiert auch im vorgestellten Oeuvre ein an den Rändern ausfransender Realismus. Die inspirierenden Vorbilder für narrative Mehrdeutigkeit, menschenleere Interieurs oder scheinbar unschuldige Landschaften sind zu erahnen. Abstrakte Malerei ist dünn gesät.
